Originally from Maine, I’m now a Brooklyn-based graphic & experience designer. This is my archive of work and where I come to make little notes on things. Many of the pieces you see here have been for nonprofits, through my service over the last 3+ years with Empax. I will begin pursuing an MPS from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program in the fall of 2010, and I’m very excited and eager to get my hands dirty.

My work has been featured in Print Magazine, The New York Times, Rockport Publishers and Index Books.

SPIME

March 22, 2010

My word of the day is “Spime” (coined by Bruce Sterling) and as the iPad relates to the evolution of devices that will allow us to both interact with a cloud of information and simultaneously be present (i.e. not staring at a tiny screen on a phone).

And now, just some related links:

a summary of a Dot Dot Dot lecture I saw last week about the iPad, given by Alexis Lloyd from the NY Times.
