This is the exact spot where I threw in the towel on my previous attempt at Dickerman only six weeks ago. It’s not often that I don’t follow through on things like this – maybe because we don’t have such whacky conditions during summer months back east – so this one burned. I’d been waiting for the snow to melt enough so I could get back here and put this hill to bed. Today was my day of redemption.

Although, as you can plainly see, there’s a lot less snow at this level – it wasn’t long before I ran into it again. There was plenty of it, too – knee high. Thankfully the “nicer” weather has softened it up a making it easier to sink a heel in for traction and sliding wasn’t as much of concern as it was for me last time. Anyways, I don’t want to drag this out – so I’ll let you know I made it to the top! *Fist Pump* The view of some of the other peaks in the neighborhood was slightly obstructed by the clouds, but I didn’t mind too much.

And despite wishing there was no snow on the way up – it was a blast coming down. Well worth the repeat visit, for sure! Enjoy the shots.

Worked with design, editorial, dev and program management teams to scope, design and develop prototypes for soon-to-be-released Bing.com feature during a summer internship. The internship culminated in two presentations of the feature prototypes to senior leadership at Microsoft as well as the Bing design team.
